So on Thursday Buster went into where I work to get surgery done on his back left knee. It was to fix his luxating patella. It went really well. I was able to watch the whole surgery. It was very interesting to actually see his knee and see the problem. It makes you feel so much more confident it what was done. While Buster was in the recovery are I was able to stay with him. I can not believe this but I sat there for 3 hours with him after his surgery. He came home and slept the night away. Today I took him to work with me thinking there might be something wrong because he will not try to even walk. The second I had him in the office he walked around just fine, even putting preasure on his leg that go surgery on it. So he is recouperating fine and being babied.
On another note last week we spent the week with my family in Florida. It was really nice. We spent most of the time chilling with them and relaxing. We took Max back down to my dad to live with him and my mom. We were going to do it for a temporary time, but my dad asked if he could have him back so we agreed. It is a little lonely in the house with out Maxtard. It is nice though because he will not be stepping on Buster while he is recovering. We did have a chance to go to South Beach, Miami and spend a day. It was amazing. The weather was perfect. Then on another day my mom and I got to spend a day at Epcot together. I love spending time with her there. It is one of our traditions to go, relax and enjoy Epcot together once a year.I can not wait to see them again.
For now I am babying Buster and living one day at a time……. <wow that sounded deep

Steph and I recently got back from Florida after a long overdue trip back. For me it was my first time back since the move, and Steph had definitely been jonesen’ to see her family. The weather was perfect and we were able to spend a lot of time with the family - mission accomplished! Jimmy and Carlos also did a great job of organizing some hang out sessions with our friends so all we had to do was just show up. The nephews are getting so big. It was a nice time and we’ll definitely be back sooner than later!

One of the best things about living in Knoxville is how close we are to the most visited national park in the US, The Great Smoky Mountains. This past Saturday Steph and I went with a big group of friends over to the Smoky Mountains to hike Chimney Tops. It is just over 2 miles long with a very steep ending. We took video of almost the whole hike but I figured the summit of the hike would be the most exciting. It was beautiful especially with the tree’s starting to change colors. Take a look!
We just pulled this video off our camera. At Biltmore the blacksmith played music on an anvil and gave us a little history on how it all started. Check it out!
Well this post took a while to post. LOL So on July 2nd - the 4th Justin and I went to the Biltmore house to see it. We stayed at the Inn At Biltmore. It was so beautiful. The weather was perfect. During the day warm weather clear blue skies and at night clear starry skies. It was so nice to be able to go somewhere and relax for a few days. We were able to go fly fishing while we were there and that was a lot of fun. Now I finally actually know how to do it. We went and saw the house, the gardens, the farm and also the winery. At the winery we took a chocolate and wine course, which I shouldn’t even have to say, but it was awesome and yummy. On Friday night we headed home and relaxed for the night. It stunk because I had to work on Saturday morning that’s why I was not able to go down to Florida like I would have liked too. But o well. Anyways tonight we plan on having some friends over and cooking out. MMMMmmmm!!! As regards my car crash. I have my car back and now I am going through occupational therapy to get my hand to make a full fist. On Tuesday I am getting a MRI so that they can figure out what is going on with my back. But other then that everything has been going pretty good.
Wow I can’t believe it took me nearly a week to post this but I guess its better later than never. Last Friday Steph and I decided to head to Ohio to watch the spring game and visit family and friends. We had a really nice time at the game even though it was rainy. We got to visit with everyone and have a great time. I could post all the details but pictures are a lot more fun. Click the link below to check out pics from the spring game.
