This past weekend Roddy, Debo & Gayland all came down to spend 3 days with us. We all had a nice time and it was actually Matt’s first time visiting Tennessee. I had my heart set on taking them on a particular hike that would be breathtaking but that part of the mountain is shut down now because of weather so we ended up doing a smaller but beautiful hike. (Picture below) We got to do quite a few things while they were here and introduced them to ihop which I’m sure we’ll be visiting again the next time their down. Thanks for making the trip down guyyyyyssss!

Two Saturdays ago we had a congregation talent show. My talent was the balloon animal twisting. I was surrounded by kids in like 2 seconds. I did not even know we had that many kids in the kingdom hall. A couple of young brothers in our hall made this awesome video about service. Our dog Max has a camio at 1:50 - 2:10 and Justin has a camio at 2:29 and his arm has a camio at 2:36.

This past weekend wasn’t one that I’d like to repeat again. Steph and I’s plan was to install the tile that we’ve had sitting in our garage for months. So Friday night I have to make a run to Home Depot and on the way I get hit by a woman on my drivers side messing the car up pretty bad. I’m really fortunate that I made it out of the accident in one piece. After the collision I had to climb out the right side of the car because my door was so messed up and the fact that her bumper was stuck in it. There was a firetruck, ambulance the whole nine. The good thing is that I’m ok and a car can always be replaced or fixed, we’ll find out soon enough what will happen with the trusty accord. Anyway we were still able to get tiling done this weekend after the initial setback and the results are pretty nice. We’ll have pictures up soon.

Update: The car is totaled and I have a week to find a new one or else its motorcycle for me!
