Well I finally got the chance to sit down and tell you all what went on this past weekend. Last Friday night our friends Jared, Chris, Erin, Tyler, Gayland and Justin’s mom Linda came into town. It was really nice to have them here to visit us. On Saturday morning before everyone got up we went to the Honda dealership to trade in my Volkswagen for a Honda Pilot. I was really excited because they had the very one I had wanted. It is a 2005 Black Honda Pilot EX-L. It is really nice and I am so happy to no longer have the car that seemed to have everything go wrong with it. LOL I guess I can look back and laugh at it all now. Then we went back home and went to Cracker Barrel with everyone for lunch. Then later on we took them to Barley’s. It is one of our favorite spots downtown. Then came Sunday. Justin was a little bit nervous to have his firs public talk and I was nervous for him as well. I was really happy because my Bible study came to see it and really liked it all. Justin did very well and it seemed his nervousness left him quite quickly. After we went to a brother and sister’s house for lunch/dinner. It was really nice of them to have done all of that work for us. We really appreciated it so much. Later that night we hung out at the house and Abel, Ashley and Baby Mercedes came over to visit us. The Ohio Crew bought us the best ice cream cake ever for our anniversary coming up. We thought that was so nice of them to think of us. Thanks guys!! Then on Monday morning everyone left except Jared who stayed a little bit to hang out with Justin some more. We really enjoyed having everyone here.

So this past Thursday Justin and I went down to Orlando Florida. On Friday we went to Animal Kingdom and had a great time watching the shows and looking at all the animals. And NO we did not go on the Everest ride. I was sick and wasn’t feeling up to it. Then on Saturday morning we woke up at 3:30 in the morning to get ready for our half marathon. (13.1 miles) The race started at 6 o’clock but they want you to arrive around 4 so that you can get ready and have a good spot. We were is the last corral and wave because this was our first on yet. There were over 16,000 people running it that day. When the race started it took us 30 minutes to get to the start line. It was a lot of fun. We ran from Epcot to Magic Kingdom and back. I finished it in 2 hours and 23 minutes, Justin’s time was 2 hours and 41 minutes. I was really proud of him for finishing so close to me because he didn’t train at all and I was sure he wouldn’t finish. But he surprised me and did. We got these Donald Duck medals for finishing. I think we plan on doing it next year too. That afternoon we went to lunch with my brother, Crystal, Matthew, Jacob (it was our first time seeing him) , Shirley, Mama, Heather and Amanda. We had a really nice time with them. Then later we played games at there house and watched some t.v. Then the next day my brother ran the full marathon (26.2 miles). He did really good. Justin and I met him at the 19 mile mark and cheered him on. It was really cool to see him run that far. Then after the race we headed back home. It was a really long drive. We are very glad to be back home. Pictures will be coming!!
