Just a quick update on our busy lives. This past weekend was good. We hung out with friends the whole time. Friday night we went to Pigeon Forge and did the whole go-carting thing. I ended up getting a bummed go-cart twice (it was actually the same one) so that made it a little tougher but you know I still did my thing. Sat we had dinner with some friends and Sunday we picked up a new patio set which we really like and got a killer deal on. (hopefully steph will have pics of that soon)
Yesterday we helped a sister work on her new place putting down tile and painting. Its been a while since I did real physical labor so that shows how much i care. ;) There’s so much more but I really don’t have time to type it all. These next 2 months will be busy with us doing a lot of travel. We’ll post more about that some other time.
I just wanted to show you something that Justin got me the other day. I think that this is so cute. It is Optimash Prime if you haven’t noticed. Just wanted to share it.
So today I went and took Michelangelo to the Banfield vet. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they have a free checkup day between 2-4pm. So I took him there to make sure everything is ok and it was. Michelangelo loves driving in the car, but he has to be on my shoulder or he makes a huge fuss. I also emailed the woman who helped me in adopting him to find out why he does this weird twisting hop. She told me it’s called a binky. It is really cute to watch. Then I went to this really nice bakery for dogs to go and get some treats for Max. It’s called the River Dog Bakery. The owner is really friendly and it is a nice family bakery. But as far as that there is nothing else going on in our lives right now. And No Ashley hasn’t had the baby yet.
I just wanted to show you a picture of Penny officially meeting our rabbit Michelangelo. I thought it was kinda cute because she is kinda scared of him. And he kept following her around the room. It was really cute.
So I know we haven’t wrote a post in awhile. We have been a bit busy just doing things with friends. On Friday night we had some friends over and played Monopoly. It was a lot of fun. Then on Saturday after service we went to lunch with a couple in our hall and then went and played golf. I am surprised to say that I had a lot of fun. I really haven’t played in awhile and thought I wouldn’t have that much fun, but I did. Then on Sunday after the meeting I went to get some supplies for a party that some sisters were having for a friend of ours that is moving. It was decorated in Pittsburgh Steelers colors. We had a really good time. The whole congregation was there and we all had a good time eating and laughing. I brought Max with us and he loved all the attention. Then after that we went to our friends house and watched The Illusionist. I thought it would be like a magic movie, but they told us it wasn’t and that you see how he did everything at the end. I loved it and they were right. So trust me you might watch it and think that it is a supernatural type of movie, it’s not. It was a really well put together movie. So that’s it for our weekend. Next weekend will be a whole new story about what we will be doing. I can’t wait.
Well Justin and I have adopted a new pet. He is a 3 month old Lilac American Rabbit. I went to the Young and Willam’s Animal Hospital today and picked him up. Justin and I have been thinking about getting him for about 2 weeks now and finally thought that it would work out. So I picked up our newest member of the household. We are hoping that Max and Michelangelo will get along. I have read many articles saying that dogs and rabbits can become close friends, we are hoping that will happen. Oh and by the way we didn’t name him Michelangelo that was his name already, but I think it is great.
Here’s a clip of Max chasing after the laser pointer. You’ll see Mike and Becca in this video as well. They blessed us with their presence on their way to Kentucky to visit his parents. It was nice seeing them.
