This past week has been very enjoyable with my mom being able to fly down and spend a week. This is her last night with me as she heads back home in the morning. We’ve done a variety of activities and she’s met Steph, her family and friends of mine. I’ve posted some photos of the trip. Click on the picture below to check em out.

My mom will be flying in tomorrow. This will be her first visit to me here in Florida. I’m really looking forward to it and for her to meet Steph for the first time. I can’t wait. See ya soon mom!

Tonight I’ll be starting a class for work.  The title above is a pretty good indication that it is a Spanish class.  It will be an 11 week course for 2 hours a night every Wednesday.  I haven’t done anything with Spanish since H.S. but I’m excited and I’ll definitely be able to put it to good use living in this area of Florida.

This past weekend was pretty busy…. Friday night a friend of mine had a party at his house which all of us went to. He had a band there, a grill, and the highlight of the whole thing, an inflatable gladiator joust. The jousting was a lot of fun and the air mattress or whatever it was proved to be very comfy that night as we all layed around on it.

Saturday was just as busy as Steph, Ray and I met up with some of our friends at my buddies wedding shower in Ft. Lauderdale. (picture below) It was an oriental theme which meant very tasty food. They had a great party and i’m truly happy for Justin and Sonia.

Then Sunday after meeting I went and played basketball for my weekly excercise routine and then I hung out at Steph’s and watched a movie.
