This past weekend was great and not just because it was 3 days. Friday night started out with a group of us going to watch X-Men 3. I enjoyed it, thought it would be better but overall it was still a good movie. After that we just hung out at my house and actually ended up watching another movie.
Saturday we went to an engagement party and then took off after an hour to go to a house party at a friends. It was a lot of fun with latin music and I actually ended up dancing most of the night. Then afterwards Steph and our friends came back to my place and we played Euchre.
Sunday I played b-ball with the guys and then Steph and I ended up going out with a couple who are getting married soon. It gave the girls a chance to get to know each other and JP and I a chance to catch up.
Monday (Memorial Day) after sleeping in, some of us went to the beach and went skimboarding for quite a while. It was my first time doing it and I actually was able to pick it up after picking up body up off the sand a few times. Then that evening I had a cookout with friends at my place. It was a good weekend and next weekend should be just as busy.
Geez I’ve got some catching up to do on my posting. Life has been really busy lately but all is well. This past week was special since Thursday was Steph and I’s 6 months. To some, months might not mean a whole lot but we were excited about it since things have been going really well, so we both decided to give gifts and we went out for a nice dinner Friday night. After that we just hung out at my place with some of our friends watching a movie. Saturday after going to the beach with a buddy of mine a group of us went to our friends going away party at a local park. We really hadn’t known the couple for to long but the time that we’ve spent with them has been a lot of fun and we have some good memories from it. Then saturday night we all went to a friends house for what I guess you could call the “after party” Then Sunday I played ball with the fellas and then we shot pool for a nice end to the weekend. Ok thats it for now I still haven’t ate dinner.
Vh1 has this contest where people submit videos of themselves doing the Air Guitar for a chance to go to Las Vegas. We decided at work to do a video of Luc. Here it is below. Watch Video
This morning I switched the server that doovie.net was running on so if you tried to go here throughout the day you got a godaddy page. But everything looks to be back to normal now.
Steph and I went to a formal party saturday which was really nice and had some very tasty food. I also played some basketball this weekend which is totally unrelated to the party. We also hung out with some friends and stuff like this. The picture below is from the party.
I got an email on Monday from a vendor that we work with saying that I was the random winner of an iPod.
The week before I had filled out a survey which I normally don’t have the time to do but I figured since I had gave Steph my iPod I might as well try to get myself a free one. So I got it a day later shipped in from Colorado.
