All is fine here. My place had very minimal water damage but thats it. I have a few photos below. I’ll have video in a day or so that I shot.
This is my parking lot. On the right you can see a green van. In front of that is a lake. The lake formed another lake in our parking lot. :icon_eek:
Right now we’re getting nailed by the northern part of the I-Wall. Winds are around 90mph and its pretty crazy outside. Power is going on and off but we’re lucky because of lot of people have lost power completely. I’ll try and keep ya’ll posted. This has sure been an experience so far.
So I just got back from home last night at around 11:00. The 4 days I spent in Ohio were truly great and refreshing even though I didn’t get a lot of sleep. I was so happy to spend some time with friends and family. Some of the high points were:
- Breakfast with Mom / Visit with Grandma
- Corn Maze - Which was an awesome experience. Walking around in a cornfield in the middle of the night with lots of friends. Doesn’t get any better than that.
- Donato’s which I was phenin
- OSU Game + Football Game which equaled Crazy Mapes breaking his pinky.
- Bond fire at Pete’s where I think we must have burned 20 trees in that huge fire.
- Meeting where I got to see a lot of old friends.
- Wedding which was amazing and i’m so happy for Issac and Monique. Which I have a few pictures of below.

Friday night I went to West Palm right after work with the guys. We had to drop a friend off at the airport and then we went out for a night on the town. It was a lot of fun and we had a good time together. Saturday we played football in which I got a nice knock around and a few bruises to show, but it was nice and I’ll be looking forward to playing when I come back. Then that night I stayed up to watch my precious Buckeye’s loose….. what a disappointment that game was. Then Sunday after meeting Jon, Ashley and I went to the animal shelter to look at cats. Well they ended up getting 2 kittens and I didn’t bring home any. I would like to get a kitten but I just want to make sure its the right one for me. Then we spent the rest of the day watching football and glued to stat tracker wondering how our Fantasy Football teams were doing. All in all it was a good weekend with excitement but also relaxation. I’m looking forward to this weekend where there will be plenty of both as I go back home to visit.
