Well I just finished up a 15 hour day. I’ve been in 5 meetings today and starting at a monitor the rest of the time. We are launching a new site Thursday and i’m running into a lot of last minute issues. Well i’m finally ready to hit the sack.

Hurricane Katrina came and went yesterday but didn’t really hit our area much. Today though our business office was closed so we decided to go surfing this afternoon. The pics and a description are below but most are pretty self explanatory.

This weekend was truly a “Guys Weekend” Friday night was poker night. However I had nothing to play poker with so after work I went out and bought a Table, 4 Chairs, Poker Chips and a Table Top. That came to around $200 or so. Then the guys came over and we had a fun time. So much fun that its going to turn into a weekly thing.

Friday I went surfing for the first time. It was a lot of fun and I actully got up on the board. That night we all went out to eat and then saw Red Eye at the movies.

Sunday was beach day again, then mall, then Mike P’s house for relaxation.

Well I just got back into town this afternoon from being in Knoxville the past few days. It was a really nice experience and I think we accomplished quite a bit in our meetings. I feel very fortunate to be included in these meetings with professionals who have been in the industry for years. We discussed upcoming projects, shopping and more. After our meetings we went out and enjoyed downtown Knoxville including drinks and pool. Now i’m back here and I’m actually still in a meeting at 8:35 at night and i’m sure we’ll be here much longer so I had better get back to the grind.

Update: Its 9:32 pm and i’m still in a meeting here at the office….
Update: Its 11:12 and i’m now home. woohoo!
