Yesterday a big group of us went to Busch Gardens in Tampa. This was my first time going there so I wasn’t sure what it would be like. I was used to going to Cedar Point back home which is the roller coaster capital of the world. I had a great time though the rides were a lot of fun, there were tons of animals, and great company. We didn’t get home until 2:30 this morning so I’m still kinda out of it but it was an awesome time.

So last night I thought I’d try doing some upgrades to the site and messing around with the RSS. Well that probably wasn’t the best idea being tired and all. Some things got messed up but the site is back now.

I did loose all of your wonderful comments though.

So tonight the new Batman movie came out, so my friends and I went to see it. It was different than what I expected but I liked it. The main thing I would have liked to change was the batmobile but I can’t have everything my way.

Ahhh the weekend recap….
Friday night was pretty cool. I had some of my friends over, for many it was their first time coming here. We hung out for a while, ate pizza, and played video games. Then we went and saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith which was a good movie (Angelina’s fine self made it a lot better) Justin P stayed the night.
Then Sat it was pretty rainy because of Tropical Storm Ilene so i chilled at home pretty much all day since a pool party I was going to was cancelled. However I did do some grocery shopping which was needed badly. Then that night I went to Cliff’s house for a few hours to just chill.
Sunday I helped my friends family move some stuff back into their house that was damaged in the hurricane. Then I did laundry because I was running out of underwear That night cliff and shawn came over and we watched Troy which was pretty good as well.

So I had my first talk tonight. I was fine until I actually started and then the nerves kicked in. For the first 4 or 5 verses I was so nervous and felt like I could break down any minute. I said a little prayer and 2 verses after that I was fine. God works in such powerfull ways.

You can see I put a countdown timer on my site. It shows how much time is left until I head back home to visit. Other than that nothing is new. I’ve been working a lot of hours this week so i’m definitely looking forward to the weekend.

As most of you know I previously worked in broadcast before moving south and joining the newspaper. Today I came across a clip of a sports announcer who was just awful, in fact I feel safe to say that he\’s the worst on air personality that there has ever been.

You have got to watch this. It made me un-easy just sitting here watching him stutter and stumble. Hey kid! Its time to change your major. :icon_lol
